Conversations with community influencers highlight innovative, independent solutions to fix health care
NOVO Health launched a new podcast June 9 that tackles the tough health care issues faced by employers, employees, providers and communities.
Entitled “NOVO Live – The Podcast,” the series invites subject matter experts and influencers to share their perspectives and practical advice to a common problem faced by the broader business community: the unsustainable cost of health care.
Hosted by NOVO Health CEO Curt Kubiak, NOVO Live – The Podcast empowers listeners by making them aware of solutions that lead to lower costs, enhanced benefits, better outcomes and a superior experience for health care consumers.
“The podcast is a logical extension of what we have been doing in our annual conference,” said Kubiak. “It’s about bringing together industry leaders who share a common goal of fixing what is broken in health care.”
In the podcast’s initial episode, Kubiak sits down with Sarah-Beth Janssen to discuss the power of internal benefit champions to help employees better understand and execute the benefit plan to drive down the cost of health care. Janssen is Strategic Risk Advisor for McClone, the Menasha, Wis.-based risk management partner specializing in business insurance, employee benefits and HR solutions. Janssen advises the Orthopedic & Sports Institute, a founding member of NOVO Health.
