The NOVO Health Bundled Payment Program for Workers' Compensation Health Care Services was a requested program option from our employer partners who currently use our Bundled Payment Program for Health Services to cover health benefits through their self-funded plan or commercial health insurance. The same benefits afforded to employers and their employees in that flagship program also work well for workers' compensation claims.

Inclusive Bundles

The bundle includes surgery, surgeon and assistant, anesthesia, facility fees and a 90 day post-operative limited warranty, which covers post-operative care at participating sites. (See Program Terms for additional details.)

Workers’ compensation price bundles cover all of the expenses of managing a workers’ compensation claim, while aligning employer and provider interests to return workers to the job as soon as is safely possible. With a predefined treatment plan, everyone is incentivized to get the diagnosis, treatment and return to work plan right the first time.

Our goal is to have employees interacting with their colleagues in a limited role as soon as possible and then progress them to their full functional capacity.

End of Healing

With aligned incentives and improved communication between employee, employer and case manager, providers can get a better feel for when an employee has reached end of healing and can fill out the WKC 16 as the final step in the plan of care for the employee.
